 Guemes Island Ferry Weather Update

Guemes Ferry Winds

Gale force winds from the west/southwest are forecast for the northern inland waters until about 10:00pm tonight, Friday, February 10, 2017.  For the next 6 hours, the tide will be ebbing which may cause conditions in the channel to become too rough for the ferry to operate.  There is a high probability that some runs may need to be canceled.  Although we realize this would be an inconvenience, the safety of our crew and passengers is our highest priority.  If you do not have to be somewhere, tonight would be a good night to stay home.

Sincerely,

Captain Rachel Rowe
