Guemes Ferry service update – Nonpeak season starts Oct. 1, 2018
Good afternoon,
The nonpeak season fares and sailing schedule will be effective starting Monday, October 1, 2018.
Our new nonpeak brochure can be found at https://www.skagitcounty.net/PublicWorksFerry/Documents/Brochure_NONPeakFares.pdf.
As a reminder, after September 30, 2018, the Ferry Division will no longer accept checks at the ferry terminal. Payment by check is becoming more uncommon (we are currently averaging less than 5 checks per day). Additionally, we are moving to an electronic ticketing system that does not incorporate payment by check.
- Punch cards can still be purchased by mail and paid for by check using the online order form at https://www.skagitcounty.net/PublicWorksFerry/Documents/PunchcardOrderForm.pdf.
- If you’d like to set up a commercial credit account, the application can be found at https://www.skagitcounty.net/PublicWorks/Documents/Guemes%20Ferry%20Account%20Application.pdf.
- For questions about ordering punch cards by mail or setting up an account, please contact Marie Henry, at (360) 416-1400.
We will continue to accept cash and debit/credit cards at the ferry terminal. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We have Wi-Fi available at the Anacortes ferry terminal which gives us the ability to quickly process mobile credit card transactions in line. These transactions are very fast with the option of a receipt to the customer by text or email.
For questions, please contact Rachel Rowe, Ferry Operations Division Manager, at (360) 416-1400.
Sincerely,
Captain Rachel Rowe
Ferry Operations Division Manager
