Marine Forecast – Guemes Ferry Route – 4.26.2019

Good afternoon,

There is a small craft advisory in effect through late Saturday night for the northern inland waters including the San Juan Islands. Tonight, a west wind is predicted at 15-25 knots, switching to NW wind at 15-25 knots tomorrow. There are some white caps in the channel now, but it is unlikely ferry operations will be affected. This notice is a heads up in case loading at the terminals becomes unsafe due to wind waves. Should that become the case, we will send out additional notifications immediately.
